Armed police were called to a residential street following reports of a man acting suspiciously.

Members of the public looked on as officers with guns descended on Norfolk Road in Cliftonville on Sunday afternoon.

An 18-year-man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail until Monday, May 22.
