Two men were taken to hospital and another was arrested following reports of violence flaring in a village.

Police and ambulance services were scrambled just after 11am today to Rossetti Road in Birchington amid reports of a disturbance.

A man has since been arrested in connection with the incident while two men were later taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigators remain in the area carrying out enquiries.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report that a man had been assaulted in Rossetti Road, Birchington at 11.25 am on Wednesday June 12 2024.“Officers attended, and a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
