Did you spot our April Fools' Day story?
Here's how it read...
An artist inspired by Margate being named as one of the hippest towns in the UK is planning to bring ‘a taste of childhood’ to one of Thanet’s most popular beaches.
Apollo Shanti-Firis has unveiled plans to install a giant swing into the chalk pillars at Botany Bay.
The London-born designer says he will be charging a minimum of £5 for each person who sits on the swing.
He said: “This is holistic synergy at its finest.
“I’m coupling a taste of childhood with something very plain and ordinary.
“I want to excite the mundane and boring lives of normal people.
“This swing will bring cool visitors down from London and across the country.
“I am going to start the Thanet revolution.”
And an artist’s impression released today reveals the vision for the huge attraction.
The huge seat will hold three children or two adults, depending on size. There will be harnesses attached to the structure to secure all riders in place.
Apollo will also be installing a ‘photo before you ride booth’ allowing thrill-seekers to take a selfie before going on the ride.

The ambitious project will then see him curate a 16ft collage in the shape of a bucket and spade from all the images he receives.
He hopes it will be on display in his Shoreditch gallery in early April next year, after the swing is installed later this year.
Apollo said: “I am hoping the structure will be completed in time for summer, it’s just going to be really arty and really fun.
“I don’t think anybody would have been creative enough to think of doing it on a natural chalk cliff so this is what makes me really unique.
“The idea for a selfie booth was an inspired decision and what’s more iconic than the bucket and spade to show off the Great British seaside?”
