A family has been left heartbroken following the unexplained death of a "loving, funny" dad of one - as police appeal for information.
Adam Huckle, 36, was found at a flat in Tomlin Drive, Margate, on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the premises about 8.45am and Mr Huckle was rushed to hospital, but died a short time later.
Officers investigating his death are now urging anyone who witnessed an assault on Margate seafront the previous morning to get in touch.
Following a post mortem carried out yesterday, Mr Huckle's death is being treated as "unexplained".
His younger sister, Lisa Hall, said: "His family are heartbroken at the fact we don’t know how he died.
“He was such a well-loved man.
"I can't put my words together properly.
"He was a loving, funny man, and we need to know if anyone had seen him on Saturday in Margate."
Police are appealing for information, as they work to establish the circumstances of his death.
As part of their investigation, officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed an assault on Margate Main Sands, on Saturday morning (August 8).
Anyone with any information is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 09-0520.
