Popular high street fashion store Monsoon will shut at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs and be replaced by a plus-sized clothing shop.
The retailer, which includes Accessorize, was one of 36 at-risk branches under the firm's re-structuring plan, although which stores would close had previously been kept under wraps.
But it has now emerged that staff at the shopping centre branch were served their month's notice on September 25 with the shop set to shut its doors at the end of October.
Francesca Donovan, centre manager at Westwood Cross, confirmed Monsoon is shutting but says she is delighted to welcome plus-sized clothing store Yours to the centre.
"We work hard to ensure we offer our customers an exciting combination of brands and Yours will provide a unique mix of plus-size clothing to complement our current fashion offer," she said.
Monsoon is one of a number of big high street names to leave the centre, with Select also shutting tomorrow.
Some 12 jobs will be lost at the Select branch after the clothing store went into administration earlier this year.
Topshop and Topman, Burtons and Dorothy Perkins also closed in 2015, with the brands now offered in the Outfit store.
Much-loved fashion retailer H&M shut four years ago and was replaced with a Wilko.
