A newly-engaged woman got her upcoming nuptials off to a perfect start after winning Thousand Pound Friday.

Catherine Booton, from Ramsgate, never normally works on a Friday, but today she did and happened to hear about the kmfm competition and texted in to win.

She's only been engaged a month to her partner Michael and they plan to spend the money on their wedding.

Thousand Pound Friday returns next week, on August 31.
