A biker has been airlifted to hospital after a crash.

Paramedics and an air ambulance were called to Ramsgate following the collision in Weyburn Drive.

A man was involved in the incident, which happened shortly before 3.30pm yesterday.

A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed paramedics were called to the crash involving a motorbike.

"Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by the Kent, Surrey, Surrey Air Ambulance Service.

"The motorcyclist was assessed and treated at the scene before being airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London."

It has not been confirmed how serious his injuries are.
