A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries in a crash on a Kent road.

The biker collided with a Vauxhall Astra on the A28 at St Michaels, near Tenderden, at around 9.30am on Sunday morning.

Kent Air Ambulance lifted the casualty to a London hospital where his condition is being assessed.

The A28 was still closed in both directions between Grange Road and Shoreham Lane at 11.15am.
