Firefighters have been tackling a fire in a large building in Margate.
The emergency services were called to the derelict three-storey property in Arthur Road just after 5pm.
The crews had to search the building because there were reports of people being trapped inside.
The fire, which was on more than one floor, was tackled using high-pressure hose reel jets and main jets. It was thought to be extinguished at 6.20pm.
There were four engines, with around 20 firefighters, involved. Kent Police, the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent Fire and Rescue volunteer response team also attended.
There are currently no reports of any injuries.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and will be investigated.
