A body has been found in the search for missing Margate man Daniel Holland.

The 30-year-old was on a short break in Eastbourne and was reported missing in the early hours of this morning.

The body was found in Eastbourne this morning and is believed to be Mr Holland's.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Unfortunately a body believed to be that of missing man Daniel Holland, 30, from Margate, Kent has been found.

"The body was found in Eastbourne on Friday morning."

An appeal was issued this morning as concerns grew for Mr Holland's welfare.

His family have been informed.
