A 13-year-old boy died after falling from a seafront esplanade, a coroner has been told.
Samuel Alban-Stanley, of Queens Road, Ramsgate, died at King's College Hospital in London on April 26 after suffering a traumatic brain injury.
An inquest into his death was told how he was found seriously injured in the town's Marina Road after reportedly jumping from the esplanade at about 6.50am on April 22.
He was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition but died four days later.
The inquest into his death was opened earlier this month and adjourned by coroner Sonia Hayes until September 9.
