Cliftonville: Boy taken to hospital after being hit in Sweyne Road

An eight-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

Police were called to Sweyne Road, Cliftonville, shortly after 8am.

The incident involved an Audi A4 and the pedestrian.

Two men were arrested after allegedly targeting lorries.

The road re-opened at 9.25am.
