A teenage boy is in a London hospital following a serious crash in Ramsgate.

At about 12.25am, a red bicycle and a silver Vauxhall Corse car collided at the crossroad junction of South Eastern Road with Ellington Park.

The boy sustained injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers investigating are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
