The partner of a British woman killed in a tragic crash has told of his sorrow after losing her and their unborn child in a scooter crash.
Sophie Emma Rose, 41, died in the crash in Thalang, Phuket, yesterday.
Her boyfriend, Danny Glass, 29, from Margate, was also injured.
And in a posting to a Facebook page today he said he thought he was going to be charged after the crash, saying he was scared.
In an earlier post he paid tribute to his girlfriend, saying: "I am in total shock as I've lost the most precious person I had ever connected with."
He added: "She was also pregnant so I lost my child too."
Ms Rose, who was originally from Blackpool but lived in Phuket, updated viewers of her YouTube channel on her pregnancy just days ago.
Local media said she had been crushed to death under an 18-wheeled truck when the motorbike she was riding pillion on swerved to avoid a parked car.
Mr Glass, who was driving the motorbike, suffered minor injuries and the 30-year-old truck driver later gave himself up to police, it's been reported.
The Foreign Office said: "We are providing support to a British man who was injured in a road traffic accident in Thalang, Thailand, and are in contact with the local police."
Speaking on Facebook, Mr Glass said: "Tragic news - my girlfriend died in a scooter accident we had today.
"My brain is going into denial. I am distraught."
He said he needed as much love and support as he could get.
