A runaway taxi rolled down a hill in Broadstairs before crashing into a wall.

Miraculously, no one was hurt when the unmanned Jaguar careered down Belmont Road last night.

It was pictured after smashing into a wall at the end of the road, with a crumpled bonnet and surrounded by bricks.

Witness Tracy Rigby said on Facebook: "Can't believe it managed to get all the way down our road and miss every car parked on the side of the road.

"Thank heavens the kids were not playing football in the street."
