Ramsgate continued their climb up the Ryman League Division 1 South table with a 2-1 win at Burgess Hill on Saturday.
The victory leaves them eighth in the table, but came at a cost with skipper Warren Schulz suffering a dislocated elbow.
Both sides had chances in a goalless first half, before Liam Quinn put Rams in front 20 minutes into the second half, chesting down a pass from Andy Hadden and firing home.
They doubled the lead five minutes later when substitutes Sam Jones (pictured) and Tom Tsangarides combined, the latter netting from a tight angle.
The home side pulled a goal back soon afterwards through Steve Harper, but Rams held on to claim the points.
