A beauty salon has been broken into with equipment and cash stolen overnight.

Police have put out an appeal for information following the raid in Ramsgate town centre.

Electrical items, hairdressing equipment and cash were reported to have been stolen from Pure Escapism Hair and Beauty on the High Street. It is believed the incident happened during the early hours of Sunday between 1am and 3am.

Officers would like anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who has more information to call police as soon as possible.
