A burst water main has caused two homes and a main road to flood in Broadstairs.
Fire crews are working to pump water out of the properties in Rumfields Road and clear water from the A256 Westwood Road, near the Westwood Cross shopping centre.
Drivers are being warned to avoid the area while crews make the road safe.
Kent County Council (KCC) Highways say the burst water main and temporary traffic lights is causing traffic delays in the area.
A fire spokesman said: "We are working to pump water out of two flooded properties in Rumfields Road, Broadstairs, which has been caused by a burst water main.
"Two fire engines are on the scene. The road is also flooded, so please avoid the area while crews deal with the water and make the area safe.
"No injuries have reported injuries."
