A cabbie was attacked by two of his passengers - before the pair fled the scene with his cash.
The robbery took place in Wilderness Hill, Margate, yesterday at about 8.30pm, when the driver of the taxi was assaulted by a couple of men who had been travelling in his car.
It was reported that the assailants then stole money from the vehicle as the victim sought help.
A police spokesman said: "The first offender is described as white, in his 30s, and bald. He wore a dark-blue top and navy jogging bottoms.
"The second offender is also described as white and in his 30s. He wore glasses, bright-coloured shorts and a white T-shirt.
"Detectives are investigating the robbery and want to hear from people who saw anything, or who have dashcam or CCTV footage taken in the area at the time of the incident."
