An exciting video games event at the Winter Gardens in Margate is expected to attract enthusiasts from all over Kent.

GEEK – which stands for Games Expo East Kent – features 150 playable consoles, networked gaming and gaming tournaments, talks, seminars and launches.

Exhibitions will range from the history of arcade games to the most recent cutting edge developments of role playing adventure.

Fringe events on the theme of gaming will involve local galleries, cafes and other venues.

The expo is expected to attract people to Thanet from all over the south east, and if it’s a success, will become an annual event.
