More than 150 cannabis plants have been seized from a house - but police are yet to make any arrests.
Officers came across the cultivation during a routine patrol in Westgate-on-Sea yesterday evening.
The plants were found in a property in Ethelbert Terrace.
As well as the large supply of cannabis, police also uncovered evidence to suggest an electricity meter had been bypassed.
As a result, the area was made safe by a utility company.
No arrests have yet been made and police are continuing their inquiries.
