A car veered into the side of a house in Ramsgate after a crash involving another car.

The accident happened at around 7.15pm yesterday in Newington Road, on the corner of Cheriton Avenue by the Windmill Pub.

Police attended and a road closure was in place until the vehicles were recovered.

The local authority was also notified and a cordon set up around the home.

It is not yet known if any structural damage was done. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
