Cash has reportedly been swiped from a post office during an overnight raid.

The shop in Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs, was burgled between 3.20am and 3.30am this morning.

Officers are making inquiries to confirm exactly what was stolen, but it is believed money is missing.

It was also reported attempts were also made to steal a quantity of cigarettes during the incident.
