A child has fallen from a window in Margate.

The accident happened in Irvine Drive at around 6.40pm.

Emergency services including police, ambulance and air ambulance crews were called to the scene.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 6.41pm to reports that a child had fallen from a window in Irvine Drive."

The nature of the child's injuries is not yet known.
