A child has been hit by a car near a primary school in Margate.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were at the scene, at the junction with College Road and Connaught Road near Drapers Mill Primary Academy.
It is not known how seriously injured the child is.
One witness reported seeing a person lying on the road near a bus stop, with passersby trying to keep them warm.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was made aware by the South East Ambulance Service that a collision involving a child and a car had taken place in College Road, Margate at around 4.15pm on Tuesday, November 22.
"Officers are currently attending the scene to carry out enquiries.
"The child has sustained injuries and is being taken to a local hospital for treatment."
Drapers Mill Primary Academy has been contacted for comment.
