The festive season is now in motion and there are still plenty of Christmas lights switch-on events to attend.
Last Friday, Westwood Cross started the Christmas celebration with their annual switch-on, with thousands watching with delight as the lights were turned on.
Here's a round-up of Christmas lights switch-ons to come in Thanet:
Minster - today
The twinkling lights will be turned on today in the highstreet and there will be late night shopping between 6pm and 8.30pm.
Ramsgate - Sunday, November 26
On Sunday Ramsgate will be getting into the Christmas spirit with their switch-on at 4.30pm.
There'll be entertainment from noon til 5pm, including live music, Santa's grotto, a land train and a human snow globe.
Ramsgate harbour - from Friday, December 1
Boat owners in the Royal Harbour in Ramsgate are busy decorating their vessels with Christmas lights ready for the switch-on next Friday.
The boats will be lit up for the whole of December.
Broadstairs - Saturday, December 2
The annual Broadstairs switch-on will be at the beginning of December with Christmas themed stalls, Santa's grotto and live music from 11.30am at Pierremont Park.
The lights will then be turned on at 5pm.
Margate - Saturday, December 2
The mayor of Margate will be switching on the Christmas tree lights in the Old Town at 4.30pm
Margate Turner Contemporary - Saturday, December 2
Santa will be making an appearance at the Turner Contemporary's Christmas lights switch-on, which will be at 6pm.
There will be a Christmas market throughout the day on Saturday from 10am, with 25 designers and makers with stalls.
The market will also run from 10am-5pm on Sunday, December 3.
The cafe will be serving mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine.
A Christmas workshop will also be running where visitors can make decorations with artist Lydia Brockless.
Westgate - Sunday, December 3
Westgate's Christmas lights switch-on is said to be returning bigger and better than before with 70 stalls at their Christmas market, a fun fair, entertainment and live music.
The event will run from 11am until 5pm, with the lights switched on at 4.30pm.
Entry is free.
