Labour leadership contender Jeremy Corbyn will be holding a rally in Margate this weekend as the race to head the party enters its final days.
Mr Corbyn has been drawing huge crowds at a series of rallies he has staged throughout the campaign and is currently the bookies’ favourite to win the contest to succeed Ed Miliband as leader.
It is understood that several hundred tickets have already been booked for the rally at Margate’s Winter Gardens on Saturday, which comes just one week before the contest is decided.
Mr Corbyn has emerged as a surprise front runner in the race and is clearly ahead in most polls.
The Islington MP visited South Thanet during the general election campaign.
He is one of four candidates: the others are Yvette Cooper; Andy Burnham and Liz Kendall.
