CANDIDATES for the chief executive’s post at Thanet council will make presentations at an extraordinary meeting of Thanet council next Thursday. The shortlisted applicants will face questions from councillors who will then discuss their options in party groups.

The council will reconvene for the members’ decision.

An announcement as to who is to replace David Ralls may be made the following day. Mr Ralls is retiring from the post.
