A “disgraceful” drunk couple had sex on a train in plain view of an autistic child and his mother.
Rampant John Conachy and Sarah Cooper, 53 and 41 respectively, even continued fornicating when a passenger on the Ramsgate to London Victoria service screamed “you’re disgusting”.
The mum fled the carriage with her son and when the train conductor discovered the pair he kicked them off.
Judge Mark Weekes told “boorish” Conachy his behaviour was “thoroughly disgraceful” at Canterbury Crown Court.
“You, with your then partner, were on a train service, having boarded the train, and went to the toilet,” he added.
“You made your way past some passengers. One of whom was a 13-year-old boy.
“Thereafter, you and your then partner engaged in boorish drunken behaviour, and decided to have sexual intercourse in public view.”
Prosecutor Warwick Tatford described the depravity unfolding and how it disturbed the mother’s child.
He told the court the pair were aware of the child’s presence because they walked past him inside the carriage to reach their seats.
“At 2pm on a train from Ramsgate to Victoria the defendant and Miss Cooper got on at Ramsgate and had minimal contact with a lady and her son who is autistic.
“Because of drink and perhaps drugs as well the couple decided to have sex in the carriage.
“(The mum) describes her speaking to her son and then him becoming silent.”
“She got the impression he didn’t know where to look.
“When she looked around that is what she saw, she couldn’t believe her eyes. She shouted ‘you are disgusting’ and went into the next carriage."
He added a train conductor discovered the pair, kicked them off at the next stop, then described Conachy to police as “naked”.
“He said to the couple ‘you are bloody disgusting'," the barrister added.
The court heard both defendants were caught clearly on CCTV, however it took a number of months before they were arrested.
Cooper, of Crescent Road, Ramsgate, was discovered by police drunk at Ashford train station.
She pleaded guilty to outraging public decency at the same court last month and will be sentenced next year.

Conachy, of Dalby Road in Margate, was detained after being arrested for burglary and fraud earlier this year.
The defendant, who has committed 55 offences on 29 occasions, was arrested after three burglaries at Kent schools and committing two counts of bank card fraud.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and admitted outraging public decency in November last year.
Mitigating, James Howard said his client, an ex-painter and decorator, is remorseful and is addressing his addiction issues in custody.
He told Judge Weekes Conachy became addicted to drugs after a relationship break-down and losing his home.
Conachy, was jailed for 20 months for all of the offences.
