Police were called after a car crashed in Westgate-on-Sea this morning.

It happened in Minster Road at around 12.25am.

Officers attended but no injuries were reported and the road was clear by 2.30am.

Gas company SGN were later called to the scene, but it is understood this was not connected to the crash.
