A crash partially blocked a busy road and caused traffic delays.

There are reports of a collision on the A28 Canterbury Road, Westgate-On-Sea, this morning.

Police confirmed they were called at 8.45am following the crash involving a van and car near Minster Road.

"Officers attended and assisted with traffic management and the recovery of the vehicles," a spokesperson for the force said.

It is understood there have been no serious injuries.

The road has since been cleared and traffic is reported to be easing as of about 10.30am.
