A crash is causing delays around Westwood Cross shopping centre in Thanet this afternoon.

A car smashed into a barrier at the roundabout with Margate Road and Haine Road at around 3pm.

No serious injuries were reported, police said.

Police are at the scene.

A spokesman said: "This was a collision involving a car and a road barrier. It was reported to us at 3pm.

"Police are at the scene and the are no serious injuries reported. The vehicle involved is a Renault. Highways have been notified of damage to the barrier."
