Margate slipped back into the Ryman League Premier Division relegation zone after losing a 2-1 lead against fellow strugglers Cray Wanderers in the final 17 minutes.
Despite going a goal down inside 10 minutes at Hayes Lane, Gate recovered and Curtis Robinson levelled with a header on 37 minutes and Dan Stubbs put them ahead on 53 minutes.
However defensive errors from the visitors led to an equaliser on 73 minutes and another slip led to the winner two minutes from time.
The win saw the Wands leap-frog Mark Butler's side and climb out of the drop-zone.
