Firefighters have forced their way into a flat this morning to tackle a kitchen blaze after a neighbour raised the alarm.
Crews in two fire engines attended the incident in King Street, Ramsgate at 11.40am.
Using a hose jet and breathing apparatus they extinguished the small blaze but are still looking to find what started it.
The fire was in the ground floor kitchen of a building made up of three flats.
Crews were alerted by a 999 call from a neighbour, and forced entry into the flat to deal with the incident.
A spokesman said: "There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is not currently known."
