Crisis workers were called to the aftermath of a bedroom fire in the early hours of this morning.
Members of the Red Cross helped at the scene of the blaze, which erupted in a second-floor flat in King Street, Ramsgate, at about 2am.
Fire fire engines were sent to site, with crews wearing breathing gear to get closer to the flames.
Everyone had managed to get out of the three-storey building before firefighters arrived, but a woman in her 40s was handed over to paramedics.
A unit from the Red Cross helped some of the occupants.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
