After a lengthy online bidding war, a script from the famous 'Jolly Boys Outing' episode of Only Fools and Horses has sold for more than £10,000.
The screenplay from the 1989 Christmas Day special, which sees Del Boy and Rodney enjoy a trip down to Margate, was flogged on eBay by the relative of a make-up designer who worked on the legendary sitcom.
In total, 89 bids were cast on the sought-after item as memorabilia collectors battled it out to get their hands on the prize.
Having started out at a price of just £100, the final sum ended coming in at a whopping £10,099.
In describing the item, the seller - who's just landed a triffic deal - wrote: “This belonged to my late aunt, Dorka Nieradzik MBE, who was a make-up designer and presumably was the designer on this episode.
"The script is bound in a plastic cover, which has protected it from getting too foxed over the years.
"Her name is written in pen on the front page. I don't know whether she signed this herself. It does look like her writing, but it could well have been someone in production who wrote her name on it."
The famous 85-minute episode was filmed across Thanet, with the cast shooting scenes in Dreamland, the old Dumpton Market, Cliftonville and Broadstairs.
It was the legendary sitcom's eighth Christmas special and drew in 20 million viewers when it originally aired 32 years ago.
The screenplay is hundreds of pages thick and is in the smaller A5 size, rather than the traditional A4 paper size.
