A key road has re-opened following an accident involving a car and a motorbike.
The motorcyclist has been taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford after being treated at the scene.
The A256 Westwood Road, Broadstairs, was shut between the A254 Margate Road (Westwood roundabout) and Northwood Road.
An ambulance spokesman said: "We responded to a report of a motorcyclist being knocked from behind by a car at around 8.50am.
"Two ambulances were sent to the scene and the motorcyclist was treated at the scene for injuries including back pain.
"The patient is being taken to William Harvey hospital."
The road had reopened by 10am and delays have since cleared.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 8:55am on Friday December, 22 to a report of a collision between a motorbike and a car on Westwood Road, Broadstairs.
"Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital for injuries that have been described as minor."
