A badly-mauled harbour porpoise has washed up on a beach.
The mutilated mammal, found by Kim Strickling on Westbrook Bay beach, is thought to have been killed by seals.
Coastal warden Tony Ovenden has alerted the Cetacean Stranding programme, which investigates the deaths of all porpoises found on UK shores.

Mr Ovenden said: "There are two types of seals around here, the common seal which is harmless and the grey seal.
"Grey seals when they are in packs attack literally anything.
"It is quite sad really because these animals are the smallest in the group and they're absolutely harmless but the ocean seems to take a disliking to them.
"A lot of porpoises die around this time of year and that is becoming quite a concern, the stranding programme is building up a bank of knowledge as to why they are dying.
"It could be anything from pollution, trauma, deformities or an attack."
It comes a day after another dead porpoise washed up on Sheerness beach.
