Deliveroo will launch in Margate this summer and the delivery service is now on the look out for new drivers in the town.
The company says it has seen a huge demand for the service in Thanet and is excited to be expanding its operations in Kent - also announcing today it will be moving into Folkestone.
Drivers and riders already deliver takeaways in several Kent towns including Canterbury, Maidstone, Ashford and Dartford.
Deliveroo says it is hoping residents who have a car, bike, scooter or motorbike will sign up to take orders to customers' doorsteps which can be delivered in as little as 15 minutes.
Dan Warne, managing director of Deliveroo in UK and Ireland, said: "We’ve seen a huge demand for Deliveroo in Margate and we’re excited to be launching this month; we’re really excited to be creating new work opportunities for local people.
"The team is looking for people with passion, drive and great customer service, who are seeking the added benefit of flexible hours amongst other perks. We would encourage anyone looking for a fast paced and active job to apply through our website."
The company says it offers a free insurance package to all new riders and drivers to cover against incidents on the road.
A spokesman added the new jobs are ideal for people with cars or scooters or who enjoy cycling as a hobby are looking to keep fit while earning some extra cash.
