A BABY suffered facial injuries after being attacked by a dog. The 23-month-old was left in a room with his parents’ seven-year-old Jack Russell at their home in Lloyd Road, Broadstairs, when the dog bit him.

Police said the baby had cuts to his jaw, his eyelids and other parts of his head.

He was taken to hospital but later allowed home after treatment. The dog was put down.
