Photos show the hairy moment a cat stuck on a 60ft ledge was rescued by firefighters.
The adventurous ginger tabby became trapped on the Railway Tunnels in Marina Esplanade, Ramsgate, on Saturday morning.
The RSPCA was called as fears grew for the cat.
But charity workers were unable to reach the feline - which was on a ledge about as high as four double-decker buses.
At about 11.30am, the RSPCA called the fire service for help.
A height vehicle was sent to the scene along with the fire service Line Rescue Team, and passers-by crowded to watch as the cat paced anxiously along the ledge.
But is was a happy ending for the lucky moggy, as crews in a cherry picker were hoisted up to its rescue.
The cat was retrieved by fire crews and passed safely into the care of the RSPCA.
