A new ride has been announced for thrill seekers visiting Dreamland on Friday.

The Crazy Mouse has become the newest addition to the park's selection of fairground amusements. The ride dates back to 1997 and stands at more than 15 metres.

Dreamland spokesman Georgina Church said: "The Crazy Mouse ride is the latest addition to the Dreamland line up, bringing even more thrills and spills to the park.

"Reminiscent of the days of the Bembom Brothers’, Wild Mouse, back in the 90s, the Crazy Mouse will provide a hair-raising experience that is not for the faint-hearted!

"Be prepared to scream at the top of your lungs thanks to the 90-degree turns and speedy straights, steep drops and a seemingly endless array of fast bends.

"This is one of the ultimate rides to add to the fun and thrill-seeking atmosphere that Dreamland possesses, so you’ll sure to have a crazy time!"

The ribbon will be cut officially opening Dreamland at 10am and the Opening Night Hullaballoo with headliners Chas 'n' Dave has sold out.
