An Audi driver involved in two crashes less than half an hour apart and on opposite sides of town has been arrested.
The first incident is reported to have taken place in Crow Hill Road, Margate, at 7.40am on Friday, September 1 between the Audi and a Mazda.
The second, involving the Audi and a Yamaha motorbike, is reported to have happened in St Michael's Avenue at 8.09am.
In both incidents the driver of the Audi failed to stop.
A man in his 20s from the Ramsgate area was arrested in Broadstairs later that morning on suspicion of driving while disqualified, driving while unfit through drink, possession of cannabis and two counts of failing to stop following a road traffic collision.
He was also arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with a disturbance at the Sundowners Wine Bar in Albert Terrace, Margate, on Sunday, August 6.
He has been released pending further enquiries.
