A driver transporting pallets stacked more than 20ft high was stopped by police in Ramsgate.
Officers from the Special Constabulary stopped the vehicle in Newington Road at 1pm when they spotted the load swaying from side-to-side in the trailer.
There were 50 in total, 26 of which were piled on top of each other and loosely secured by just three straps.
The load, which was just shy of the height of a double decker bus, was made secure and the driver was accompanied to his destination, which was only two minutes away.
The driver was given a traffic offence report for carrying the insecure and dangerous load.
