Two people remain in a serious condition in hospital today after a car ploughed into a Minster beauty salon in the early hours of Saturday.
The driver, a man in his 20s, and a passenger in his teens have been taken to London for treatment after suffering life-threatening injuries in the accident at Girls World in the High Street at 1.45am.
Another teenage boy who was also a passenger in the grey MG ZR suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Police were at the scene where the front window of the salon has been smashed and are appealing for witnesses.
They are still investigating the cause of the crash.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the crash or saw the car in the moments leading up to it.
Police spokesman Steve Knight said: "The two who suffered life-threatening injuries remain in a serious condition in hospital.
"We can't go into details about how the collision happened as that is all part of an ongoing investigation."
The pavement outside the salon has been cordoned off.
