Two men have been arrested following an early hours raid.

Police attended a property in Adrian Square, Westgate-on-Sea, on the morning of March 30 (Sunday) as part of an investigation into illegal drugs.

Officers remain at the scene carrying out inquiries.

A spokesperson for the force said: “On the morning of Sunday, March 30, we carried out a warrant at a property in Adrian Square, Westgate-on-Sea as part of an investigation into alleged drug supply.

“Two men were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of illegal drugs and were taken into custody.

“Officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries, and searches of the property are ongoing.”
