Television stars from BBC One soap EastEnders ventured out of Walford to film on location at the Kent seaside today.
Cast and crew members visited Morelli's ice cream parlour in Broadstairs and took a walk along the Promenade on their first day of shooting.
Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter, Linda Henry, who plays Shirley Carter, Annette Badland who plays Aunt Babe and Luisa Bradshaw-White better known as Tina Carter were on set.
A Thanet council spokesman added: “We are delighted that Eastenders have chosen such a beautiful location for their filming and are using local businesses in Broadstairs.
"This is one of many projects that the council have been involved with. We are pleased that the work behind the scenes to assist location managers to enjoy filming in Thanet has paid off once again.”
