The second day of filming is underway as the stars of EastEnders were spotted in Margate today.

Filming in Thanet is expected to carry on throughout the day and up to lunchtime tomorrow.

Danny Dyer is believed to have stayed at the Oak Hotel in Harbour Parade.

The actors were seen in Margate as the ashes of character Stan Carter were scattered in an emotional scene.

He spent time posing for photos with fans yesterday, when cast and crew members shot scenes in Morelli's ice cream parlour in Broadstairs.

They also took a walk along the Promenade on their first day of shooting.

Mr Dyer, who plays Mick Carter, Linda Henry, who plays Shirley Carter, Annette Badland who plays Aunt Babe and Luisa Bradshaw-White better known as Tina Carter are on set.
