Two people have been injured after a helicopter crashed onto its side at Manston.
A man and a woman were involved in the accident at the former airport site near Ramsgate at about 11.15am.
The woman suffered arm injuries and the man sustained a minor head injury. They were both taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for further treatment.
Police, paramedics in two ambulances and two cars, and firefighters were called to the scene.
The helicopter is said to have been hovering a short distance from the ground when it came down and landed on its side.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said crews were sent to make the scene safe.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to Manston airfield in Spitfire Way, Manston at 11.20am on Monday 25 July after receiving a report that a helicopter had come down.
"Officers, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and Secamb attended.
"A man and a woman who were in the aircraft, sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening. There are no reports of anyone else in the aircraft.
"The Aircraft Accident Investigation Branch was informed."
