Red-faced council workers are preparing to correct a spelling mistake painted onto the floor of Staner Court.

Contractors, who were updating the car park on behalf of Thanet District Council, bungled the lettering whilst designating an area for emergency vehicles at the residential car park in Ramsgate.

The council say there are plans to change the mistake which should be completed by the end of this week.
